Unhappy linux deepin lag after adding win8 hdd

My system is a and fx8320 with a hd7950 and 16gigs ram.

There's 2 hdd in my deskptop. 1 wd caviar black 1tb and 1 blue 320.
Windows 8 is on 1tb drive. Too install deepin I unplugged sata cable on the windows drive alone because in the past I had some bootloader issue with Ubuntu with two drives plugged in during Linux installation.

The deepin os is installed fine and worked. So, I shutdown, reconnect my windows drive and boot up after few hours. I boot into deepin and its just unusable. It works for 5 seconds and will then stay frozen for many minutes, again it starts functioning normally and again it freezes for minutes. I had deepin totally updated. This problem happened after connecting the windows drive.

Strange thing is in deepin, under system info it shows 1320gb of hdd space. It should not be counting the win8 hdd as its own.

I cant understand what it is. I only do extremely casual stuff on Linux.

Because Linux is able to read/write to NTFS partitions - if you want it to.

I did a fresh install of Deepin linux the same way I did the last time and again installed the same updates in the same manner. Strangely, it seems to be working fine since the past many weeks. Wonder what went wrong the first time as I followed the same steps as this time...issue is solved. How do I close the thread?
