Unhappy linux crashed, can't start X

i was running zapping, xmms, and browsing the web on Mozilla, when the computer crashed. I'm running mandrake 9.1. I restarted the computer, and when i typed in startx, it said that y default font "fixed" was not found.

Any ideas how to fix this?
