Linux CentOs shortcut remap Shift+4, Shift+6

Hi everybody, first post, huppihey!

I am not programer, Linux user for a while, no deep knowledge of terminal things.

Problem:
Using program Nuke (Foundry), program for compositing, program is coming with predefined shortcuts.
Linux is overrides some of shortcuts and i am easilly solving it by disabling this in Preferences/KeyboardShortcuts area or in some other places if needed.

But some of shortcuts are staying and i am not managing to find the location where it was defined.

Shift+4 behaves as Shift+NumLock Left arrow, Shift+6 behaves as Shift+NumLock Right Arrow.

It hapens even when i am starting a pure Nuke without our pipeline involved

CentOS 6.7
Kernel Linux 2.6.30-573.el.x86_64

Any help or direction where to look will be highly appreciated
Thanks

Thanks but it has no connection to my problem

problem is not me not managing to set shortcuts, but that the OS is ignoring them in this particular case

and by the way any shortcut in Nuke will be ignored if it will share the same shortcut with the OS
Cheers

This is why I directed you to the link. You can define alternate keyboard shortcuts that won't interfere with Linux's own set shortcuts. Are you saying you're not able to define alternative keyboard shortcuts for Nuke?

exactly,
i am setting a shortcut and adding it to the Viewer menu
if i executing it by pressing on the command name it does work. but if i do press a shortcut i did assign it does not

n=nuke.menu("Viewer").addCommand("blabla","nukescripts.connect_selected_to_viewer(3)","Shift+4")

never had this issue on other OS and on other linux mashines
thank you
