linux box
after 20 weeks of using linux iam still having problems not with the operating system itself thats brilliant just i need to connect a windows xp box to a linux box now network icons in windows are showing network up and running allthough it cant see my linux box (which i expected being windows)
What dampend my spirits was my linux box will not even get the network config icon to work says network is down even though lights are on the lancard
and iam getting quite good at this linux thing so i cant see what the problem is even though samba is saying everythink is fine no eth0 connection in my tray and boxs cant talk
if anyone has gaim contact us please so we can go through it in real time
MICROSOFT users please dont try to help as you seem to be terrible at cmd line
