windows CAN'T boot Linux
to boot linux you have either to install grub or a third party bootloader not the one which comes with windows
OSL200-Boot-Manager

Only partial true. The Windows bootloader is able to chainload other bootloaders, so if you have a bootloader installed to a partition (usually the /-partition of your Linux install) there is no problem other that a little configuring to boot Linux from the Windows bootloader. All we need to know is the answer to syg00's question.

By the way, why is Grub not a third party bootloader?

In that case install the Linux bootloader to the /-partition and use EasyBCD to point the Windows bootloader to the Linux bootloader.

I would also suggest you avoid Fedora 18 - they don't support installing grub to the root (or any other) partition.
Some-what controversial decision, but they insist. Not a good distro for a new user anyway probably.
