Linux Backtrack R2 wont boot

Linux Backtrack5 r2 wont boot on my laptop with nvidia gtx670, try to update drivers booting the usb in another computer, but I still get a black screen after finished loading files. I can bearly see that throws an error message regarding a generic vga driver.

I welcome you to this forum but I'd also suggest that you start by using a more user friendly distro. See any of the top 20 at distrowatch.com for a much better choice.

backtrack IS desinged for use BY security EXPERTS
and EXPERTS in network penetration testing

pay attention to the EXPERTS part

it is not meant for the never used linux person

think of it as trying to fly ( and land - without killing yourself or others) a f-a18 off a carrier
AND HAVE NEVER EVER flown an airplane before

i would give Ubunto12 or Linux Mint a look at
