Linux and WinXP
Hi all,
I'm working on a school project with linux and now I must explain the installation of Windows and Linux. What is of course no problem. But they asked me why I've first installed Windows and after that installed Linux. But I can't actually answer that question. I think it's because then it's easier to partitioning your hard disk and it's easier to dual boot. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Does anyone have the right answer? Tnx, Dave |
* Windows thinks it's the only operating system in the world, and will overwrite your boot manager/loader without questions.
* lilo is capable of loading a linux kernel into the memory, and start it... and as well, redirect your CPU to the bootstrap location of Windows XP. * lilo can be used very easy to boot into XP. |
Thank you for your help.
