Linux and AOL

Can I connect to the internet using kppp with my AOL account?

Not the way you want to. AOL has stated it's not going to be developing Linux support, at least not for a while IF they do. But i read a column about a guy who got it to work using wine and aol version 2.5 and then he could only read email nothing else. I found the article at aol.com doing a search for "Linux support". But you and I as users of AOL are stuck for now. I do have a local free ISP though, so I can connect through linux using kppp. Maybe in your twon they have a similar service...That's as far as my AOL Linux knowledge goes.
