the 1st question to you is:-

" did you check the MD5 checksum?"

if that is wrong, then the ISO is not as it should be,
& you will get all sorts of errors, when installing from it.

& did you burn it, - at a low speed ??.

that's the two most important, things .. ..

Howdy and welcome to LQ!

As above could be some issue with download. Iso files could be tested or should be tested always.

The quality of your system may determine also how well the disk is burned. Using best quality disc's and slow speed helps.

Some drive's don't seem to burn dvd's correctly. Since you got it to boot that is at least some sign. Is it always the same complaint?

It may take quite a while to boot on some systems.

You may also have to select the correct boot choice, it may show an efi or other choice both for the dvd drive.

Testing this disc on other systems may help. Testing other distro's may help.

You might not have enough resources. You may need more ram.

I also don't get this part. "32 GB down " The iso ought to be more like a 1G file.

I just booted Mint 15 a few hours ago so I know at least it should work.
