Have you checked the Mandrake forum here? Somebody posted the way that they use the prism2. Have you tried that? Is there some GUI tool in Mandrake for this? Is the card seen? What is the output of lsmod? Have you tried bringing the card up with ifconfig? What wireless tools are you using?

Also, shouldn't you be doing `insmod wlan-ng`? Why wouldn't you have used the Mandrake utility urpmi for this also? Precisely how did you install the driver?

Citrus, I know how you feel. I played this game for several months, but finally I found an answer. First, it was Linuxant.com, which showed me it was possible, but they wanted $20 for a $40 card driver. Somehow that seemed a little steep. So I kept looking, and found this: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/

The readme is a breeze, even for newbies, and the site is very active. Just make sure to thank the developers, one way or another.

P.S., you're going to want to make sure the dirvers for it start before any network services do. For most people, this isn't a problem, and for admins, you should already know what I mean. Just a bug I found, if it doesn't work at times.
