Linksys and Linux

I just downloaded damn small linux and everything went fine for once, concidering that the past 5 live cd's i downloaded failed. When it boots up onto the desktop it says if i have a broadband internet it should be all set up for me, but i'm not connected? Does anyone know how i can set up internet on that or a distro that does a better job at it? Thanks.

Is that wireless or through ethernet? If it's through ethernet, and your router is set as a DHCP server (which it is by default), you will need to enable DHCP.
