Limited Connectivity?

Hey,

I hope this is the right place to ask this as I am a newbie to this forum and to linux as well. I have a strange issue with Network Manager in OpenSUSE 15 Leap / GNOME 3.26?

So everything works fine actually, but after a while I get this X mark on wired connection in NM applet, but the connections to internet (ethernet and VPN set through Network Manager) work just fine. When I restart the connection it's normal again, but X shows soon quite randomly.

I have set up the static IP address in Yast.

The picture is shown below (red spot) but if you need more information just let me know.

What could that be? Thanks for help!

Hi,

I recreated VPN and that is not invalid anymore, but X sign is still there...

leap defaults to using wicked for the network and for almost everything this " just works"

so from the network settings in yast2 dose everything work with the default wicked network manager
