lilo question

why does lilo say

Code:

you passed an undefined video number

when i load linux?
how can i fix it?

what's your /etc/lilo.conf configuration?

i think it means the "vga=" thing has a bad number?

edit /etc/lilo.conf (as root), and look for "vga=" it should either say "normal" or be a number ... read "man lillo.conf" i think it has a small list of numbers ... if you are not sure, make it say "vga=ask" .. then save and exit, and run "lilo", then reboot and see what happens (it will ask you at boot for a number, and show you extremely small a list)

i edited the file, but it still says
undefined video number
on my first install, it didnt say that
