Lilo is kicking my rear end
I just did a fresh install of slackware 10.0, and the first thing I did was update the kernel to 2.6.7. I untarred the 2.6.7 kernel in /usr/src/, then ran make gconfig, then make bzImage, then make modules, then make modules_install, then I copied the bzImage to /boot/vmlinuz, then I coppied .config to /boot/config, then I coppied System.map to /boot/System.map.
Now, whenever I start my comp, it brings me to lilo. I press enter to boot linux, my only OS on lilo, and it says "Uncompressing linux...." then BAM, it reboots my PC. I cant even get past lilo to fix it. Is there anything I can do short of a full reinstall? I am using a knoppix live-cd now to try and mess around with it.
