Lilo Crashing after installing RedHat 7.3
 

After I installed Red Hat 7.3 my machine would lock as it tried to load up Li-lo. It gave me the same problem with Grub. At first I thought it was a problem with reading a 40GB drive, so I changed it to a 10GB drive. It's still not working. I've tried partitioning the drive myself and I've let the installer do it. Same results. I also have Windows 2k Pro installed. The weird thing is that I've had Red Hat 7.2 running with Windows 2k Pro before.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Do you use NTBootloader or BootMagic?

You install lilo on 1st sector of Linux part. And redo the lilo file for NTBootloader.

Have used LILO forever to the MBR, but this one beats it hands down.
I'm booting Win XP, Mnadrake 9.0 and Slackware 8.1 with this one
