Cool Lilo.Conf & Video Settings

Hello All,

I'm running SuSE Linux 8.x and recently made a change to the "Lilo.Conf" file to change the "default" text mode that linux boots to.

The specific change I made to the "Lilo.Conf" file is "vga=normal". Everything boots fine but the text is now a little too large.

Does anybody know where I can find a list of video mode settings so that I can expeiment with different font sizes?

Thanks
Scott

You should type in lilo.conf : vga=ask
but don't forget to rewrite lilo!!

nautilus_1987 is right. You should write vga=ask instead of your vga=normal.

Good info guys, that option is a good idea, if you find the one you like, change that in your 'vga =' section.

Cool
