Light install docker ubuntu + VPN + WebDAV sync ?

Hello all,

I am looking to create a small docker install from Ubuntu:latest where I would like to connect to internet through a VPN (I don't know how to do it ) and I would like to synchronise continuously with a WebDAV on the internet as well.
What is the best solution for continuous sync ? A-la dropbox, google drive etc... The solutions I have seen so far seem to rely on periodic sync but I would really like it to be as real time as possible

real time syncing means continuous data transfer, may cost a lot. Another way could be: you need to send all the changes from the other side (if you can do that).
You need to explain your situation better, because without details hard to say anything.
