When I try to install KDE games 3.4, it says it can't find a working libxext and needs one to preceed. Can you help me?

When does this happen? Also can you post some more about what you are trying to do before the error happens..

look on your install cd's or in a repository for your distro for a xorg-lib package that you don't have installed. this is distro specific, so it's hard to point you in the right direction since you didn't specify what distro you are having problems with.
