I'm trying to install gaim .64 and I keep getting this dependancy error, I had thought installing the new version of gtk2.2.2 would help it out but it didn't. I did a google.com/linux search and the gtk page pops up and everything seams to lead there. Is this library file NOT part of the gtk2 install? If not where is it? I'm at a loss.
there seems to have been an issue with recent gaim rpm's where they insist on having gtk2.0.0 exactly, and not just gtk2 in general, which is duff.. if the only problem is gtk2, and "rpm -qa | grep gtk2" returns good results, then (and only then) try -nodeps
