lexmark z1380 printer
 
I have put this O.S on my mothers older computer ubuntu 12.04 so it will last a bit longer is their a printer driver for the Lexmark z1380 printer had a look on the official lexmark support and downloads but their is nothing.

This printer does not have a linux driver. I looked at several sources, including linuxprinting.org, it isn't even listed there.

As I see it, you have two choices. 1. Buy a printer with linux support. Look at HP or Brother. Both have web sites that list driver support for linux. I believe Ubuntu has the HP (hplip) divers in the repos.

2. Install v-box. Then install something like Win-XP in v-box. Run the printer inside v-box when you need to print.
