Lexmark USB printer help

trying to set up a USB printer and have no idea how to do it.
any help, from the very basic, is apperciated

Please dont post the same thread again...having said that, tell us what printer model you are using.

You are most probably using CUPS. Point your browser to

http://localhost:631

you would be ask for username and password...enter your root as username and your root password.

Go ahead and follow easy web based configuration...and you should be good to go.

thanks for the advice, I'll give it a shot and see what I can come up with.

Lexmark Z515 is the model, btw.

check out Linux Printing to see if your model of printer is supported. That would be the starting point of your search.
