Unhappy LDAP to authenticate Linux w/eDir

I have successfully authenticated my Linux box to my Netware 6.5 box via LDAP. This may be more of a Novell question, but, when I first loaded my Netware 6.5 box, I could get into iManager via my admin account. Since I have successfully authenticated my RehHat EL AS 2.1 box with the Netware 6.5 box via LDAP, I cannot get into my iManager via my admin account!!

Is there anything I need to do on the Linux side? maybe the /etc/ldap.conf file? is super cool to get the linux & netware box talking!!!!
