Hi,

Please tell me some practical uses of LDAP.Also give some examples if possible.How it is different from NFS.

This sounds very much like a homework question.

Google has many descriptions of LDAP and NFS, as do your textbooks. LDAP is for authentication, NFS is for file sharing. The rest is up to you...you need to do your own homework.
