Launch CGI script from shell

Hi, is it possible to launch a CGI script with parameters from the shell?

You can use a text based browser to browse sites with CGI scripts:

Or if it's local, and you've got apache running:
lynx http://localhost/something.cgi

links or links2 is/are another choice for a text (or console) based browser.

Is that what you mean?

CGI scripts can be written in many languages like Perl or PhP.
Most of them can be run from the command line too.
The only disadvantage is that the code may not have all the input parameters it expects, which can
lead to errors of course.

So, please provide additional details on what you are trying to achieve.
