Launch Bar Help

Hey guys/gals,

I have many of my programs to be launched right off the top menu bar with a quick launcher. I know how to set these up for normal programs. How do I create application launcher that automatically logs in as root? Or is it not possible to have programs launch from an application launcher icon if they require root login?

Reason for asking is I run quite a few network monitoring tools that all require root access.

install and use webmin (all modules if possible).

it will help guide you for setting up run levels.. and your /etc/rc.x's.

i would think giving a user all the necessary rights is safer than what you are asking, espcially in the enviornment that you appear to be in.

cron and at are also your friends.

good luck.
