Hi
I'm using Fedora Core 2. I have access to X-windows, KDE or GNOME.
I'm not getting good results at the command line. While in /home/tsynergy/firefox-installer I typed the name of the file expecting it to launch but it doesn't. The file (celtx.xpi, profile name -->czrl713t.celtx) of course was extracted into the firefox-installer folder. Here are som of the result from the command line:
[tsynergy@localhost tsynergy]$ cd celtx.xpi
bash: cd: celtx.xpi: Not a directory
[tsynergy@localhost tsynergy]$ celtx
bash: celtx: command not found
[tsynergy@localhost tsynergy]$ -P celtx
bash: -P: command not found
[tsynergy@localhost tsynergy]$ -P celtx.xpi
bash: -P: command not found
Just want to be able to aunch the application. Thanks.

Hi
The firefox-installer application is located in /home/tsynergy' its path is /home/tsynergy/firefox-installer. The program that I would like to launch was exported into the firefox-installer folder. I suspect there is a general method of launching any program from either command line or via GUI. Can't seem to find the command and not sure how to activate the GUI.

Do you mean the folder is /home/tsynergy/firefox-installer?
Try running:
/home/tsynergy/firefox-installer/firefox-installer
