latex install

I'm trying to install a latex application on my system (RHL7.2) so that I can print out some doco. After reading the website it seems there should be tetex and pdftex in the distribution, but I can't find it. Can someone help me out please?

These packages are on installation CD's, there is tetex tetex-latex tetex-docs and other rpms. To be certain that you have them installed run in terminal
rpm -qa|grep -i tetex
It will return a list of tetex relevent packages installed if any.
