Welcome to LQ!.
Redhat ceased support for the Redhat Linux distributions (including v9) in 2004. The successor to the "free" Redhat Linux distributions is Fedora Linux. The latest version of Fedora is v8, with v9 being released soon. Redhat also produces Redhat Enterprise Linux (latest version is v5) which is based on Fedora. There are also clones of RHEL, such as Centos.
There are no updates to RH9, so I strongly recommend that you upgrade to Fedora or Centos.
I got some problem, so far the resource I got for setting up the service is all on RedHat 9, it might not be a good idea for me to bring up upgrading so soon, as I don't want to mess the direction of trouble-shooting when setting up the new service.
If anybody has the latest of patch to Redhat 9 and pass to me, I will be appreciated.
But anyway, upgrading is already in my mind, thank you IBall!

Alot of the stuff that applies to Red Hat 9 applies to Fedora and CentOS as well, so I doubt you will miss much
