Largest Recommended Partition Size

I have a machine with 1.5 Terabytes of disk space, in addition to a 40GB drive for the Linux OS and the swap drive. Any reason NOT to partition the 1.5 terabyte into one huge Reiserfs drive ? It's on a hardware raid.

As always, I REALLY appreciate everyone's help on this site.

You're saying you have a hard drive which can hold 1,536 GB of space?
That means you must have about seven hard drives or so all with the capacity of 200gb... am I correct?

I don't see a reason not to.

eBopBob- yes, that's right. It's for storing a few hundred thousand Targa files for an HDTV quality animation project.

Novacat - thanks for the thumbs up.
