LAN Istant Messaging


How can I intstant messg from my RedHat linux system to an NT system.

Just like net send in windows , is there a utility in Unix

I've got Samba installed and I can do that with
"smbclient -M <computerNameHere>"

you coould always install your own jabber server, which is an open source IM server, so you canget the full IM experience on your own intranet
