Linux Mandrake?
I was wondering if any body could assist me or possibly comment on the lack of support for my Linux distribution?
I purchased Linux Mandrake with supposedly sixty days free online support. During this time I mailed requests for help and they were just ignored. After searching and searching for myself I have still been unable to find a solution to my dilemma. Twelve days short of my sixty I was cut off completely from the online support with my details not being recognized?
I felt I was a reasonably competent windows user but this experience really disappointed me. I have sent a letter to the UK branch and have received no correspondence back from them. I pretty sure I could produce an independent web site to illustrate this complete lack of after sales care. It would not be a problem if a solution could be found but as yet none have arrived. I can not believe that mandrake treat all of their customers like that if they did I am truly surprised they have any followers.
I feel it is a joke to have to change your hard ware to support an operating system. Apart from these problems I feel linux in general has so much potential it is such a shame and a waste of time to have no support. How disappointing!
