Arrow Kubuntu user here. Can I put the bar on the right side of the screen?

Not sure how to do that. Simply right-clicking on the bar in the bottom does not let me do that.

I assume you have a kde desktop. If you right click the panel and choose edit from the drop-down you should be able to move it where you want it.

I have my KDE panel along the left side. I think the info here is still correct: https://userbase.kde.org/Plasma/Panels

There's also a shot on that page of a vertical, left-side panel.

Added later: Well, I'm using KDE Plasma 5.18.5 in Kubuntu 20.04. If I right-click on the panel and click on "Edit Panel..." it puts me into the panel configuration mode or whatever it's called. From there I can move the panel to another screen edge by dragging the "Screen Edge" button with the mouse.

Not using Kubuntu but am using KDE. Try:
  • Right-click on panel -> Unlock widgets
  • Right-click on panel (again) -> Panel options -> Panel Settings
  • Drag the panel to desired edge by dragging the "Screen Edge" icon.
  • Right-click on panel (yet again) -> Panel options -> Lock widgets

HTH...

We're all telling the OP the same thing and there's no reply. I assume they've done it or lost interest.
