kubuntu KDE

hey all... i'm working @ home with Kubuntu. One problem, fontsize, colors, pictograms, they are all too big... and ugly. ;-)
When i see other people working on their box, they have wonderfull layouts and when i ask them what they use, they say KDE... :-)
i want what they have, is this tweakable???

and i want a tool on my desktop wich monitors disks, lan etc... someone an idea? thx folks!

Virtually everything in KDE is tweakable. Just poke around in the control center a little. Did you have something particular in mind?

As for desktop monitors, you should look into SuperKaramba. You can find lots of themes for it on

They will all prob have themes. i agree kde is pretty ugle to start with but soo much better than gnome, flux is alrite. but yeh em get sum themes for KDE and it will look great. as AdaHacker said is the place to go
