I am rather new to Linux, but not to computers....



I am trying to finish installing the Kubuntu desktop on my Ubuntu installation. I wanted to try the Kubuntu desktop, and was following instructions elsewhere in the forums so I could choose which environment at login.

Command was sudo aptitude install kubuntu-desktop

I am now in a terminal window. It says

I CANNOT select an option, or OK. What do I need to do to select an option and then OK?

Thank you for the correct command syntax. After running sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop, the terminal says

After thinking about what the error said -processes locked - I thought maybe logging out and in would fix it - guess what? It did! Thanks for all the help
