Question krdc: "connection failed. the server does not accept new connections".

I have successfully used KRDC to connect to my mother's machine. She lives quite a distance away and I use KRDC to help her with issues. We both are running Debian Etch and remote desktop access is enabled on her machine. Suddenly, however, KRDC fails to connect and returns the error message, "connection failed. the server does not accept new connections. Any suggestions? Thank you!

If she's on a DSL/Cable modem, is it possible her IP address changed so you're connecting to the wrong computer?

Question krdc: "connection failed. the server does not accept new connections"

Thank you. I have verified both the routable and non-routable IP addresses (she is behind a router serving as a NAT firewall). I am able to do this by remotely logging on to her router. Any other thoughts?
