kprobe-fault handler(how to generate page fault)

Hi,
I am reading about kprobe tool. for this i have followed nice links
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/li...l-kprobes.html and
http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/7905.

Please tell me in which cases "fault_handler" will execute. For this i have tried by accessing NULL pointer but it throwing some errors(fault_handler not executing) and also how can i create page fault in kernel module.

Thanking you
