Kppp Dialog Setup Help Needed

Ok I installed KPPP and all went well and qureyed modem and all is ok so I got the right driver. Now for my problem lol. There was a box I could check to always start with the wizard and I checked it.Well live here in the USA and its not listed so it said to cancel and the dialog setup would start.Well I cancel 100 times and well never get the dialog setup but always get the wizard.I tried uninstalling KPPP and reinstalling it but still comes up to the wizard and cancel doesn't get me the dialog setup. How can I get the dialog setup back or what can I do.A user on here told me to put KPPP in off the 3rd cd using mandrake well newbie here so curious what other programs might I want to install that being new I don't know about.Thank You

Maybe not the way I needed to go but I uninstalled mandrake and reinstalled and did things right this time and happy to say I got online so a big sigh. Now any recommendations for a instant messaging program that would allow me to talk with people on msn messenger and yahoo messenger. Please also be one I don't have to compile. In time want to learn that chapter but hey sweating enough here lol.Abig thanks for any info you can give now and in the future. Also is there a good site or source for me to learn compiling and working with source code that a newbie can understand.
