Unhappy kpanel not seen in desktop

When i booted once kpanel chrashed. Then i rebooted the system. Now the problem is kpanel wont appear on desktop. How should i rectify it?

Well, depending on the version of KDE you have installed, it will vary. If you're using KDE 1.x, the panel is called "KPanel," and it can be launched by running "kpanel" as a command.

If you are running version 2.0 and above (most users are) then it is called "Kicker" and can be executed by running "kicker" as a command. Try those, and see if you can get that panel to apear.
