my kopete for some reason can not log in to me MSN messenger account
citing incorrect password as the reason when i know it to be correct
(i test the password in hotmail, and i try to login to me second msn account, it did not work too)
Which version of kopete? I remember my version of kopete broke with MSN due to MSN constantly changing things. OTOH, I never have that problem with Gaim.
It looks like you need to download latest release ( with the MSN fixes), recompile and reinstall.
Before going to all that trouble try the Suse updates program in Yast. Suse may very well have rolled the latest MSN fixes into their updates, I know other distros such as Mandriva do this.
You're sure you can't get it through Yast? Maybe you should google for setting up repositories for Yast if you don't have them already. It really is the easiest and simplest way.
