Just edit the /tmp/kopete-0.10.1/doc/Makefile to remove the offending languages

change line 362?
Code:
SUBDIRS =. kopete da de es et fr it nl pt pt_BR ru sv
to (assuming you don't need other language support)
Code:
SUBDIRS =. kopete
You may get 2 further compile errors with KDE 3.3.2
I just deleted the 2 offending source code lines, but your mileage may vary.

I've done what you told, but it crashes make - exactly it won't finish make. After stoping Konsole with ctrl+c, 5 or more KWrites opened with file Makefile (which I edited as you told: line "SUBDIRS =. kopete da d....")

Are you sure it crashes? I seem to remember it took forever and ever

It was certainly more than a 1 cup of coffee build!
