Kontact on KDE 4.0 under oSUSE 11.0; is it possible to import Outlook info directly?

I'm a newbie on linux and I'm very pleased with it. I tried Gnome but preferred KDE 4.0 despite some inconsistencies. I want to know if it is possible to import all my old mail and calendars that I have on my Outlook directly into Kontact, and if it is, how can I do it? I think that it is possible to do it on Evolution, am I right? Could I install Evolution under KDE 4.0? I use my computer mainly at the office and everybody uses Windows based software, so, the communication at the interior of the company is maintained via Outlook. Which software is better to use thinking on compatibility with my co-workers: Kontact or Evolution?

Thank you in advance.

Kontact team has a huge collection of links for migration. Check http://kontact.kde.org/kmail/tools.php

The main question will be what other options you need out of a simple mail client functionality. That may make you choose between Kontact and Evolution.
