Konsole in taskbar
I recently was fiddling with the taskbar and menu panel and Both the Konsole's do not load... the one on the taskbar is greyed out when i roll mouse over it and you cannot click it, the one in the menu panel is gone... how do I reconfigure my taskbar to include Konsole and what command does it use to execute?
Thanks btw. Distro: Mandriva 2006 gui: KDE |
Hi
The command is škonsoleš (without the quotes) from the command line. You can right click the task bar to add applets such as a terminal. Hope this helps Bob |
You can also click the Start button and drag an application, like konsole, down to the taskbar, and drop it. But I am affraid you might have lost the command for konsole, and that is why the icon is greyed out. Open another terminal and try typing "konsole" without the quotes. If it opens you just need to fix the link on the taskbar.
To fix the icon in the taskbar, right click on it and select Properties. Edit the Command in that box to read "konsole" without the quotes, and close it. Now the icon should work. Good luck. C |
Both solutions worked great, THanks!
