Konqueror causes system to hang and crashes

riemann_noodles Member Registered: Feb 2005 Location: San Diego Posts: 43 Rep:	Konqueror causes system to hang and crashes I'm having really bad problems with Konqueror. At least I think it is Konqueor. When in the KDE desktop my system runs a bit slow, and it seems to be mostly when Konqueror is open. Konqueror is really slow and crashes often. I have a decent system (slackware is running great when Im not in a GUI). Im running on an AMD 2000xp with 256mb mem and a 500mb swap. I have no idea where to begin to look for the source of my problem. If anyone knows of problems like this with Konqueror. advice would be appreciated.
