Konqorer Configuration
Does anyone know how to configure network settings with KDE konqurer? I recently installed KDE and no I have not internet connection.

Konqueror is the browser, not the internet connection tool. Use the tools provided by your distro to set up the connection, then user Konqueror to surf the 'net.

As mentioned above, you do not use Knoqueror to configure network settings. To do this you need to run the command system-config-network or look for the network configuration tool in the menu (usually under "System").

Actually I worded it all wrong. What I meant was how Do I configure my network settings in the KDE environment.I am using Fedora 8 and when moved from GNOME to KDE I lost all network connectivity.Since Im new I not sure where all the network configureation /commands are. thanks

Thats strange because your network connection shouldn't really be determined by the environment you are working in. Like I mentioned above, you need to run the system-config-network command.

Start with the Kde menu, Control Center. You might find the configuration apps under Internet. Fedora may also have config tools under some other sub-menu.

I know its rather strange and as soon as I switched of to KDE I lost network connectivity. The reason that I brought konquerer up is because when I trie to browse could go not go anyware. I have look in the network setting but really I sa nothing that would let me confugure anything.I appreciate your help. I will try to look closer.
