Konica Minolta Pagepro 1580mf Scanner installation problem

I have installed my Konica Minolta Pagepro 1580mf printer driver in Ubuntu 17.10, for which the printer is working properly. But scanner of the said printer not detected in the system, (Previously it was working properly in MS windows). I have also installed 'Sane'.

I am a newbie in linux. Please guide me in this matter.

Thanks.

Thanks for the response.

Yes, I have already downloaded driver from the link, for which only printer (except scanner) is working.

Have you tried to find the scanner with scanimage and sane-find-scanner?

After scanimage

Then the Linux driver probably doesn't include the scanner.

Backend just means the sane backend. It doesn't appear as though there is a sane backend for your scanner. It isn't even listed with openprinting.org. And Konica Minolta doesn't specify whether the print drivers work with the scanner.
