Kodachi first install

I installed the Kodachi 8.26 for the first time as persistent and the internet shows that am offline. The network is seeing and is connected to the wifi router, but why am i getting this message?
Help?

Hi. What happens if you type

sudo ifconfig

in a terminal?

Are you connected to your wi-fi router with an ethernet cable? Did it connect before you installed it? So much more? :doh:
