Knoppix on the HDD
Does anyone have any experience with Knoppix when installed on the HD? Ive run it from cd and of course it is slow because its off the cd....but I was wondering how quick it is when actually installed on the HD. Im looking for a basic (smaller) distro to dual boot on my laptop. Ive tried Mandrake and I currently run RH9 on my desktop, but I want something small/faster for my laptop. I was wondering if anyone has installed Knoppix on the HD, and how it runs, and if there are problems etc... Also, im going to be usnig a PrismII Wlan card, so any advice on that would be great. Thanks.
