Knoppix 3.7 On My Hard Drive

I'm trying to install Knoppix 3.7 on my hard drive and I'm running into some trouble. Because my system is older it wont boot from my second hard drive where I want to install knoppix. Right now I have Fedora Core 3 installed there and when I ran the setup for that I had the option to install the bootloader and the swap space on my main hd. I'm not so sure how to do this is the Knoppix install so I'd like some help before I try anything.

with 3.7... boot normally with the CD (does it boot from CD?)
when you get to the desktop, hit CTRL-ALT-F1 (this will take you to the command prompt)

you should be root i.e (root@knoppix#)
if it says knoppix@knoppix# then type 'su'

then type knx2hdd
i.e
root@knoppix# knx2hdd

this will kick off the hard drive install.
good luck..

Another method is:

1. In the Knoppix menu choose "Root Terminal"
2. Enter Knoppix-installer and hit enter.

This is a GUI install that results in a multi-user Debian-style system.

Do NOT capitalize "knoppix-installer". Linux is case-sensitive, and almost all commands are all lower-case.
