two_tone LQ Newbie Registered: Sep 2001 Location: MA Distribution: Slackware, Redhat, FreeBSD 4.3 Posts: 1 Rep:	Kmixer... I am setting up my laptop to use KDE and when i setup a user account and accessed X11 all was well except Kmixer didn't load any mixer settings, no slider bars and mo sound device loads to kmixer... It seems like a permissions problem to the mixer files as root can access the mixer... would this be due to file permissions of /dev/mixer? Any help would be appreciated.
