Kmenu Icon
Hi,
The irritating star of KDE just refuses to be removed. I tried to follow the directions as given in a previous post on this same topic but it did'nt work. Basically I tried to rename the star to something else and tried to give the orignal kmenu.png the name the star icon has. I don't know what happened but it just wouldn't let me rename. I tried using the command line in su mode but it still wouldn't work. I tried doing it the windows (click on the name below the icon and rename it) but then it would say Access denied. Any ideas about how I can remove the star and get the original Kmenu icon. Thanks...I'd appreciate all the help I can get moy021 |
right click the kmenue.png thing and select properties - look at permissions.
(Or ls -l) I'll bet even root dosn't have write access to it. You can remedy this with chmod (or, right-click when you are logged as root and just check the boxes...) |
